Yiannis Lazarou:

Yiannis is the brainchild behind this venture, being the son of parents who own a jewelry store, his interest in creating his own jewelry and the possibility of seeing it sold become more and more a reality rather than a whimsical thought. The moment he picked up a pair of pliers and started twisting wire and seeing an alliance with colour, metals and beads that were not obvious, it became the catalyst for a dormant creativity, that his contacts soon started sweeping up his creations. Yiannis is the type of person who loves walking around hardware stores like a child in a toy store. His interest in design, building and using his hands, is his heart's passion, whether it be from designing his garden and building the decking, or twisting a fine piece of wire that holds a crystal creation together. Yiannis loves to think out of the box and it is an inspiration to see what unfolds from his handiwork.

Greg Riddle: 

Greg from the moment he could tell others what he wanted to be when he grew up, always wanted to be an artist. Having done art school, Greg pursued a career in Graphic Design. Occasionally working for other companies and agencies he always felt more at liberty to express himself as a freelancer. His main focus has been magazine publications and also loves painting in oils. After meeting Yiannis and becoming good friends, they realised that they both shared the same interest in hardware stores, building and creating stuff with their hands. Thinking that he would build the website only, Greg soon become just as curious in making jewelry as well. Yiannis, as a brilliant mathematics tutor, was soon showing Greg the basics to Jewelry design. That was it, a partnership was born.
Living in Cyprus and Greek being Yiannis' native language, Yiannis and Greg took the first letter from their names, as spelled in Greek, and "y-exclusive.com" was created.
